Mural Festival: June 7th - 17th. As an international public art festival bound to the celebration of creativity and the democratization of urban art, MURAL transforms for a week the Saint-Laurent Boulevard into a real open-air museum where local and international artists will unite their talents in the most creative manners. The Festival will leave breathtaking displays of urban art on St- Laurant Boulevard (starting at Sherbrooke and St-Laurant).
The Montréal International Jazz Festival: June 28th to July 7th. An event that for over 35 years has transformed the city into a gathering place for lovers of all music related to jazz: 1000 concerts at 15 indoor and some 10 outdoor venues!

From Africa to the Americas: Face-to-face Picasso: May 12th - September 16th. From Africa to the Americas: Face-to-face Picasso, Past and Present, presents a comparison of Pablo Picasso’s works with those of non-Western artists, based on an anthropology of art. Montréal Cirque Festival: July 5th - 15th. Located in the Quartier des spectacles the plazas, streets, parks, and sidewalks become venues for colourful, high-flying performances. Family-friendly shows, new creations & innovations, circus-related activities, the Festival has something for everyone and is ready to welcome little ones or grown-ups in search of the extraordinary, surprises and emotions. Starts every day at 5 p.m.

Festival international Nuits d'Afrique 32 edition: July 10 - 22, 2018. Located in the Quartier des spectacles you will find more than 100 concerts, workshops, and activities presented at indoor and outdoor venues in the heart of downtown Montreal making it the largest North American gathering of major artists coming from 35 different countries.
Fantasia International Film Festival: July 13 to August 2nd. The Fantasia International Film Festival, recognized as the most important genre-film festival in North America, is now considered a major and unique Canadian cultural institution. This commercial and critical success is due to the festival’s proven ability to showcase the best imaginative cinema from more than 30 countries; from intimate auteur films to entertaining, commercially-geared genre films. Just for Laughs Festival: July 14th-28th. Located in the Quartier, the largest comedy festival in the world happens every summer in Montréal. The festival filled the streets with galas, street art, theatre productions, and stand-up performances. Hosting some 1,700 artists from 19 countries as well as over 2 million festival-goers, Just For Laughs offers 1,600 performances, including 1,200 free outdoor shows.

The IETF is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet. The technical work of the IETF is done in Working Groups, which are organized by topic into several Areas. Much of the work is handled via mailing lists. The IETF holds meetings three times per year.
